We are SO grateful for 2015!

Our third, full-length release, "The Social Music Hour Vol. 1", did us proud. With the help of our good friends on the radio, we landed the #4 Album, the #8 Artist and 7 of the Top 100 song spots on the Annual International Folk DJ Airplay Chart for 2015.

For this release, we dug deep into the treasure chest of American traditional music, creating new takes on beautiful old tunes. And with airplay on over 250 stations, those new/old tunes flew to the further reaches of the globe taking the likes of Mississippi John Hurt, Elizabeth Cotten and Big Bill Broonzy from New Zealand to Norway, Slovenia to Israel, Holland and Denmark to France and Italy.

If you have not heard it yet, you can listen right here.

The CD peaked at #2 on April's monthly Folk DJ chart, reached #2 on The Roots Music Report's Traditional Folk Chart (with the #1 and #2 songs in May) and #2 album on Airplay Directs' monthly AAA chart. It also placed as the #2 TradFolk Album on Cover Lay Down, in WFUV's Top 10 Staff Picks for 2015 (John Platt), on Folkadelphia (WXPN) and NPR's 2015 Folkadelphia Sessions Vol. 3 compilation, in WMSC Top 25 Staff Picks (Joltin' Joe Pszonek), and on 'end of year favorite' playlists from Kansas Public Radio (Bob McWilliams), and The Eclectic Chair (Trish Lewis).

In 2015, we played intimate acoustic house concerts, huge electric festival stages and every kind of place in between. In addition to our usual haunts, 2016 finds us heading to Florida to headline the South Florida Folk Festival, to Israel to headline the Jacob's Ladder Festival and a series of shows for the American Embassy, to Vermont for Roots On The River, to New York for Caramoor's American Roots Music Festival and to Massachusetts for the New Bedford Folk Festival. We'll have new dates to announce very soon.
