On February 1st, Spuyten Duyvil brings its soaring vocals, jug band energy, and tightly crafted songs to "Harmony Presents", at the Hawley Silk Mill in Hawley PA. With Spuyten Duyvil (pronounced "SPITE-en DIE-vil"), every performance is a barn-burning romp through the last 100 years of American Roots music. "They are the hottest new band in folk music ... and one of the best", says legendary WXPN Folk DJ, Gene Shay.

The show marks the band's return to Pennsylvania after a rockin’ 2013 tour featuring stops at The Philadelphia Folk Festival, The Falcon Ridge Folk Festival, Levitt Pavilion's Steel Stacks and CD release shows at NYC’s Rockwood Music Hall and the Ardmore Music Hall in Philadelphia.

Focused on “Temptation,” the CD’s theme and title, the album showcases the husband and wife songwriting team's evolution from intriguing newcomers to seasoned troubadours. Working from the band’s new Jim Keller-designed studio, producer Sheldon Steiger (Joss Stone, Joe Jackson) has leveraged the warm, honest sound of the band’s 1898 Victorian “living room turned live room” to craft powerful yet intimate soundscapes with minimal post production.

Since it’s release to radio in September, “Temptation” has received airplay on over 60 stations in 5 countries rapidly reaching the #2 song and #7 album spots on the International Folk DJ Chart and a Top 20 position on the Roots Music Report's Folk Airplay Chart and a Top 30 position on The Roots 66 Airplay Chart. Spuyten Duyvil’s previous release, “New Amsterdam” (2011) received a “Top American Roots Album 2011” nomination from The Alternate Root TV and placement on a dozen radio DJ “Top Ten” lists.
